Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside of Asheville, NC
    is Long Branch Fjords. We are a small farm and have been
    raising Norwegian Fjords since 1993. We love our horses and
    use them for trail riding, parades, birthday parties and driving. Our
    foals are imprinted at birth and spend their early years grazing
    and growing in our pastures.

    We enjoy showing our Fjords to visitors and sharing Fjord
    information.  We usually have several Fjords for sale and always

Our farm stallion is Kervan Hostarson. His sire is the famous
Hostar.  Sonny, as we call him, is a handsome stallion with
graceful movements and a floating trot. He is calm, even
tempered and a beautiful, rich, butterscotch color. He passes
many of these traits on to his offspring.

Solo is a five year old gelding out of Lukas and Sara. He was born in Canada
and has been with us since he was 6 months old. Solo was trained by Robbie
Potter and is loads of fun on the trail. He is quiet and obedient but loves to
move if you want him to. He has had miles of riding but we still consider him
