Festival Fun for all Ages

Hood Canal Fjord Fest is a Memorial Day weekend family festival celebrating the bounty of the Hood Canal. It lures hungry seafood lovers from all over the Northwest to fish Hood Canal’s rich waters, and festival goers to enjoy the festival activities and local food. There are activities for all ages, individuals, and families including rides, activities, crafts, food booths and abeer and wine garden.

The Hood Canal tides are usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches near the festival, (license required) and the weather is traditionally good in Brinnon on Memorial Day weekend.

Hood Canal Spot Prawns for sale at Fjord Fest this year!

Thanks to a special opportunity, Emerald Towns Alliance was able to acquire spot prawns and our volunteers processed 1144 containers!

Find them for sale at the Fjord Fest merchandise booth beginning at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 25th. $40 per container, available until supplies runs out.

All proceeds from the festival are allocated to support our local community. Though there is NO GUARANTEE that we'll have shrimp for sale every year, we are excited for the opportunity to offer it this year and hope for an even more successful fundraiser this Memorial Day Weekend!

What to Expect:

- Venue is open from 10am - 6pm on both Saturday, May 25th & Sunday, May 26th, 2024

- Tickets are $10 per day - children and veterans are FREE. By purchasing a ticket, you're actively contributing to the initiatives of Emerald Towns Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit passionately committed to enriching the vibrant community of Brinnon.

- Out of consideration for the safety and respect of our vendors and fellow festival attendees, we kindly request that no dogs be brought onto the festival grounds. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making this event enjoyable for everyone.

- Prepare for the elements! While we remain optimistic for sunny days, it's important to acknowledge the unpredictable nature of Pacific Northwest springtime, often accompanied by rain and wind. Be sure to dress in layers and equip yourself with whatever you need to stay cozy and comfortable amidst the fluctuations in weather.

- Please note that overnight camping is not permitted on the festival grounds. However, Brinnon and its neighboring areas offer a plethora of accommodation choices ranging from camping sites to Airbnb rentals. For detailed information on lodging options, please visit our website.
